Nathan Hites studied at the University of New Hampshire where he obtained his bachelor of arts in theatre and dance.
He has broadened his dance education at the Paul Taylor School (NY) and the José Limón School (NY).
He has danced in a wide repertoire of classical and contemporary dance roles and has taken part in creations of numerous contemporary choreographers.
In 2012 Nathan Hites joined the Atlanta Ballet as a dance teacher for the fellowship, conservatory and all pre- professional level students of the school.
In addition to his position as a dance teacher, he is also a dance history teacher.
In 2017 he was promoted to resident dance historian of the Atlanta Ballet.
Nathan Hites is a regular guest teacher in schools and dance companies and a sought after speaker at dance related events.
Throughout his career Nathan Hites has been involved in the organization of many high profile events.
