20 Years in the Making​

United Dance Company began long before its first curtain rose.

​

More than 20 years ago, choreographer Gianni Di Marco began working with several of our dancers through an adaptive dance pilot program created in collaboration with Boston Children’s Hospital. He first knew them as children discovering the joy and freedom of movement. Today, they are adults—and accomplished artists whose discipline, individuality, and commanding stage presence have been shaped by years of training.

Founded in Boston by Boris Richir and Gianni Di Marco, United Dance Company brings together professional dancers with and without disabilities, united by artistic excellence.
