Erin Barnes

Erin Barnes has extensive experience working in the arts and with community-based programming. She holds a PhD in Museology from the University of East Anglia, Norwich England; her doctoral research focused on community-based museums and the participation of diverse populations in cultural projects.

She has interned in the National Gallery of Art’s education department and has extensive experience planning events for arts nonprofits. Erin is passionate about dance and has been active on committees for The Washington Ballet and Paul Taylor American Modern Dance. She can also regularly be found in the studio herself.
